Unknown to most, GE has been part of the Australian landscape since the 1890s, providing infrastructure for Brisbane's tramways and the electric motors that still power Sydney's Pyrmont Bridge. Working with their corporate team, we strategised and created a transmedia communications program to help raise awareness of the unique ways and surprising places GE is at work today across Australia, helping move, power, cure and build the nation. The creative approach was to take the audience on an inspiring documentary journey around Australia, capturing the rawness and reality of GE ‘at work’ with iconic Australian industries, companies, locations, communities and causes. Underscoring GE works on the things that matter, the content and communications are leveraged and integrated across multiple media platforms including online film, printed brochure, iPad publication, exhibition and face-to-face presenter.
